After my college roommate got me a ticket to see them open for Arcade Fire, I actually went and downloaded their latest album. I'll be damned; it's actually good.

By the way, fans of Chuck may have caught some of "Vanderlyle Crybaby" in the 1/24 ep.

High Violet is an excellent album. You sound surprised - did you expect it to be bad?

If you liked High Violet, then you should definitely check out Boxer. Their previous album, Alligator, is fantastic, but much harder-rocking than High Violet or Boxer.

I'm not usually into something that consistently down-tempo, but it worked. I'll just have to make sure I'm in the right mood. Looking forward to seeing them on Easter Sunday.
